I sort of think it could go either way. Our lack of an inside game is obvious and needs patched in several places. Coach Cal has his work cut out for him with this group and I feel that how they respond to this beating
will be very important to how this season shapes up, Can Coach Cal and the players find a way to light a fire under them that causes them to play hard the entire game?

We have to have inside play, not asking for 20 from these guys but 12 points a game from the 4 and 5 gets us over the hump. Personally I don't see much happening from Poy as he is what he is. Skal will play every game regardless of how he produces, he is a 5 * and that means Cal will work him until the end regardless if someone on the bench could help us. He says he promises nothing, his track record says different.

I would prefer that they play as hard the entire game as they did for a few minutes in the last part of the second half today. I actually feel the effort was there then and doing that for an entire game is what needs to be done to right the ship,

I think this team will continue to regress and start looking like the Jodie Meeks team in 09. Won't end up in the NIT but similar.

Cal has made it clear that he needs overwhelming talent on the court to compensate for his lack of coaching skills. Even then, it takes a freak of nature like Anthony Davis to make it happen.

Anthony isn't coming back. I think we should be prepared for a long, long season.
