Is this a "lame duck" season for Benerick? And how does it compare to Sutton's in 1989?

I have been seeing a lot of posts here regarding Pitino (or Benerick as I like to call him...for obvious reasons ) this probably being his last season (and not by choice)...so this like a "lame duck" season for him? And if so, how does this compare to Eddie Sutton's "lame duck" season in 1989 (and why exactly did he stick around that year knowing he was probably done for already?).

It all depends on how strippergate plays out,Sutton went 13-19 in that year,so far Pitino has far out paced that.

We all knew sutton was done during that year,we don't KNOW Pitino is done at the end of this year.I don't think the seasons compare at all at this point.
