Is there any talk about the decommits on KSR or from Stoops today?

I've followed KY football pretty intensely over the last ten years and I've never seen anything like this whether it be Brooks, Joker, or Stoops. We may never know the truth, but I would love to hear something tangible on how we lose high 3 star and at least 2 4 star recruits within the last few weeks leading up to signing day. Not only that but we're losing recruits to NC State and soon to be punished once again N.C...I'm assuming the newness must be worn off with Coach Stoops and now it's time to win or we're heading back to the days of feeling lucky to get 2 to 3 four star recruits. Maybe we just got spoiled last year. I like to keep a positive feel, but this class was suppose to be better than last years if I remember the words of several of last year's recruiting class.

It has been happening all over the country this season, let it rest, there's really not much he can say when it comes to why a kid changed his mind about coming here, and going elsewhere.

We lost 6 straight games to finish the season, and don't have the luxury of offering immediate PT like we did in the past. This disappointing end to the recruiting season is a direct result of our pathetic finish to the football season. I think we'll be better next year, but we have to go to a bowl. Six wins or bust.

Several things came together at the wrong time.
1. End the season with 6 straight losses.
2. Players making the news just before NSD for bar fight. While all schools have these issues from time to time, ours put us in the spot light exactly at the wrong time. Parents of recruits see this and don't like it. Some recruits don't like it.
3. Bigger schools came calling.
4. Didn't have a really strong commitment who was active, enthusiastic, and vocal about selling prospects.
5. Lost a big name or two and the domino effect kicked in.

I think it best that coaches not dwell on the decommits, but instead stay positive the commitments that we do have. Keep selling the program. Don't focus on the bumps in the road.

Don't buy the lack of PT thing. One would think losing by your last 6, including being humiliated at least twice, UK would have all kinds of PT available.

Don't forget we also lost two coaches and almost lost Marrow so Stoops has had his attention divided and not totally focused on recruiting.
