Is there a setting still to not view signatures?

I had that on the previous format, but can't find a setting for that now.

Yes, just hover over your name on the top right of the screen, then click on "Preferences" in the drop down menu. That will give you a choice to select whether signatures are displayed. I have had them off for years and had to click that option again when the board switch occurred this morning.
