Is Penny a bad coach?

He's had a lot of talent and hasn't done anything with it. I don't watch them, so if anyone here does, can you opine on his coaching abilities?

I don't think he's bad honestly. They won at Clemson earlier. Beat UCONN. I think he's adapted pretty good to the college game. His first couple of years he didn't look like he did. Looks better now imo.
 
I actually think he is developing into a solid coach. It's not like the wheels are falling off like with Stackhouse, Ewing or something like that. They lost today but they are ranked #21 and just beat Clemson and Virginia on the road.

Yeah I agree, I am not sure if he’s gotten used to the game and improved, or if the forced firing of his old staff has now helped him. I find it strange he gets an all new staff and they suddenly look competent. I’m gonna lean with that being a huge factor in this recent success.
