simmons will probably get it but my vote goes to Jamal Murray. I wouldn't trade our backcourt with any other in the country.

SEC makes you put a player up for either POY or FOY. At least they have in the past.

He's not as good as Ben Simmons but Murray could win it if Simmons tries to go for the SEC player of the year.

But he's a black hole! Neat comment I heard tonight from announcer: Murray will finish the year as the highest scoring average Calapari UK player ever! I was sold and singing this kid's praises to the rafters before he even signed, pat on back to me!
And to think last year we all thought Newman was heading to UK and Murray wasn't even mentioned when it was all Newman to UK. Murray was the best late pick-up since Coach Cal has been here at Kentucky. If we had striked out on Murray and he decided to stay with decision to attend Oregon we would be hurting right now. We would have been looking at being on the Bubble to get selected for the NCAA Tourney. The late Murray addition has been the key to this Kentucky team this year and of course along with Him & ULIS in the backcourt.
