Is Missouri Susceptible to the bubble screen

Again, MO has held their last three opponents to less than 300 yards total offense. This is a huge challenge for UK's anemic O.

I know the line is an issue with pass blocking some of the time. But, all the time? Keep enough blockers in sometimes on the longer routes. But give these good receivers at least a chance. Why was Buford not at right tackle Saturday? He is quicker than Flax. Had to score a ton of points to beat TN yet we choose to limit passes with Flax in. Why is Levis so stationary knowing he has limited time to pass? Why not move to buy more time? Just a few things I wonder about because it is always the same. No changes or adjustments to keep the defense guessing.

It's not speed. Our WRs have speed to burn. Is it Levis holding on to the ball too long? Sometimes, yes. I think too many of the plays are too slow to develop. I think part of the reason for so many sacks is that Scang has mind-fugged Levis to the point he's either can't decide or is afraid to trust what he's seeing, plus the plays require holding the ball too long to wait for the WR to get open. By the end of last season he was much better than he is this season. Tennessee burns teams with their WR's running deep middle slants about 15-20 yards downfield. The qb has the ball out of his hands in less than two seconds. We've never run a play like that all season. And we have the weapons to do it.

It's Levis. Holds on to the ball too long. Saw a replay last night. WR breaks across the middle. Oline opens up the perfect passing lane and you can see our guy wide open, no EwwTee players near him. Levis bounces on his feet. Bounces again. Bounces a third time. Sets, and throws! But by then 3 EwwTee players surrounded the WR. We were lucky it wasn't picked off again. Levis is thinking too much.

I sure hope so. If not, we might be in for another long weekend.
We can only hope they’re susceptible to one tough RB running behind a shaky OL.

We’re outa Schlitz with the rest of our playbook due to OL scheme and experience. FGs and PATs are a coin-flip (at best) as well.

We lost the offensivr line coach in the off- season I mean then we lost ol players to the nfl. What ya gonna do...

Fair question: At a minimum? I want a OC/OL staff that can coach a college OL to run-block (not a big ask in CFB....most OLs are minimally proficient in run-blocking), AND I want in the passable passing-blocking where I don't have to watch my QB pounded into the ground 12 times per game (sacks plus hits after the throw).

If Scang & Co have to simplify schemes to get there....let's start removing the complexity--yesterday.

That was my point. He wasn't holding on to the ball too long in the second half of last season, so what changed? Scang has him thinking too much and reacting too little. How many times this season have we seen Levis successfully scramble like he did last season - Louisville defenders are still having nightmares about it.

“Trust what he is seeing “ .This has been a MAJOR problem his entire career.

I read where Missouri is 6th in the country in QB sacks. That is a major concern.

As a Mizzou fan I will say I wouldn't count on it. Our secondary is very talented and bubble screens have not been a problem for us this year.
