...or does he go after one more player? Coach Barbee seemed to indicate Cal is looking to add at least 1, if not 2 more players. Now that Murray has committed (boy, that feels good to type) is Cal done, or do you think he goes after another big?
I think he's done. We've got Winyard coming in December. I think that's enough. If we get anymore we'll wind up platooning again. I'm really not in favor of that.

Or New Zealand...they're pretty close. What about the big kid from Germany?
I hope he is done. As was mentioned earlier he has a solid 7 man rotation and he will probably use an 8th man occasionally. This team is set up perfectly for what it takes to win in March with great guard play.
ThisI wonder if he goes after the kid from St. Johns that is transferring? Obeka or however you spell it. Was a great rim protector. I know he doesn't get to play until next year, but Cal likes shot blockers.
what about the big kid who was committed to VA tech or whoever that was, we were just talking about him last week?My guess is that he is done for this class. I would assume that unless Willis makes drastic strides in the off season, when Alex comes out of the game we will go with essentially a 4 guard lineup and Skal or Lee. This team next year will revolve around our guards and obviously Skal.
I am OK with this scenario. It still stings but Calhoun was right when he predicted at the beginning of the tournament that we would not win it last year because typically strong guard play wins it as opposed to post play. Next year we will fit that description perfectly, the Wisc loss still stings, but I feel that we will be a legit contender in March 2016 lead by three awesome ball-handling guards.

Maker is not 100% out of the picture for Kentucky. I will not predict Maker will play for Kentucky, but it would not be a complete shock. If anything, Murray's commitment slightly increases our chance for Maker. I say only slightly, because the dynamic between them is complicated. We are a little thin up front but as long as we avoid injuries we will be fine. I personally hope (and actually believe) that Thon Maker is 100% out of the picture for the Cats. I don't know why and it's completely unfair of me, but I think everything about that guy spells trouble/problems. Let him go somewhere else for the year and live with what we have (which is a hell of a roster, btw).
Wynyard and the 7'1" German kid are friends???Or New Zealand...they're pretty close.
Why? Because we have been three deep the last couple years. Any normal year especially before Cal the number one player/ big along with Poythress and Lee would be sufficient. We still need a big man.
I thought you were referring to Wynyard, my bad.Wynyard and the 7'1" German kid are friends???
Noah Dickerson commited to Washington. What about the big guy recruit that was decomitting from Florida? What happened to him?

Two names that might get connected with UK are Paschal Chukwu and Kyle Washington. I doubt either have the skills to get much time on the floor at UK though, but Chukwu is a legit seven footer and Washington at 6'9. Both would be eligible to play in '15.
