The True Freshman, in just 5 games has 10 plays 15 yds or better, 9 plays 20 yds or better, 8 plays 25 yds or better, 7 plays 30 yds or better, 6 plays 35 yds or better, 5 plays 50 yds or better and 1 play 51 yds., 1 play 54 yds, 1 play 70 yds, 1 play 85 yds and 1 play 100 yds.

5 plays of 50 yds or better in just 5 games is absurd for anyone, much less a true Freshman!

Probably, the old greats like Calvin Bird and Roger Bird were very explosive but it was a very different game back then and I can't find return stats. I don't think they kept them then. BB is freaking dangerous in space.

Exactly! The font of reason. The True Freshman is on pace for 12 plays of 50 yds or better in the regular season. You know as the season progresses and he gets more comfortable/confident with the college game that he could end up with about 15 plays of 50 yds or more in just 12 reg. season tilts.
That’s simply obnoxious! Could be Heisman trophy worthy too!

Ky98 some people just hate positivity and I typically piss positivity.
It has NOTHING to do with positivity. I appreciate positively. It's the clutter and the ridiculousness. And I think it's intentional. And your intent is to be purposefully annoying.

What a ridiculous thread. Brown is a poor man’s Derek Abney! Abney ain’t getting tripped up or tackled from behind in the open field. They don’t make ‘em down South like they do in Wisconsin!

If you were a troll you wouldn’t respond to a Derek Abney post. We had Lyons too in that era. Nice little run of tough little white slot receivers and returners.
We were ballin’ + shot callin’ back in the day. Don’t forget Tommy Cook and Aaron Boone making gangster plays!

What ever. He is a True Freshman! He will get stronger. He already has the speed, the quick twitch muscles, the field vision and moves, you are right he needs a bit more strength but that will come.

He's just pollyanna, you'll be ok. You said you like positivity and that's almost all he posts, to the point of being silly sometimes. If you don't like it, perhaps you shouldn't click on it.

This has to be sarcasm. Abney was slow by WR standards.

Most explosive players? Barion Brown is totally awesome. Happy he's a Wildcat playing for UK, but you also can't leave Lynn Bowden Jr. out of the conversation. Craig Yeast deserves mention in this era. Yeast returned 4 kicks for TDs during his time with the Wildcats if I'm not mistaken.

When healthy, Keenan Burton was very explosive. His junior year he ranked 2nd in the SEC in kick returns. He ranks 2nd in UK history in career receiving yards and receiving TDs.

Mark Higgs was too. I remember when Locke was a freshman, he was behind Rafael Little, Alphonso Smith, and Tony Dixon. When Locke entered the game early in the season in a blowout, Leach said “and this one is the fastest of all of them.”

He could end up being that guy. It’s way too early to tell but the guy has juice. No doubt about it
