iowa up 30-15 on the road with 8 mins left first half.

Iowa has been impressive to be up 18 on the road with 1 minute left in the 1st half.
With their best shooter on the bench in foul trouble. Iowa and Southern Cal are two teams to avoid because they can shoot anybody out of the gym when they are hot.

Good for Iowa. Maybe they are a legit team for once...still won't pick them to go far out of principle.

I thought Izzo was the greatest coach in the universe. How is he down 22 at half at home? Don't you know he would have already had 4 titles at UK? This score must be a misprint.

I wonder what Izzo would do at UK. I'm sure he would do well enough, but I'd rather have Cal.

Izzo is a really good coach

What is the most loses for the #1 overall seed in the tournament? Because this is the year that record is likely broken.

Wasn't Lewisville the #1 overall in 2013 and 2009 with 5 losses? And wasn't FL the #1 overall in 07 with 5?

I think they have only done a "top 1 seed" ranking thing since like 2003 or 2004 so I'm not sure how to judge before that.

Mich St will probably have a crummy big 10 season, so they'll probably make the final four.

In 2000 Michigan State was a #1 seed with a 26-7 record.

That's true, and they won the national title as well. Looking at Wiki, looks like they were the #1 overall and #1 heading into the dance. Must have been a WEAK year overall. I see Duke was 27-4 heading into the tourney. Amazing they would not get the top 1 seed with that record being all MIGHTY DUKE.

Please someone tell me they saw Jon Hood playing for Iowa.

Michigan State doesn't impress me except for Denzel Valentine. They remind me alittle bit like Kentucky this year with not much depth in there Frontcourt. MSU goes with a 3 guard Line-up with Valentine, Forbes, and Nairn. Eron Harris transfer from WVU is another guard for MSU. In there Frontcourt is Costello and Schilling both at 6'9 and Davis off the Bench. Costello and Davis averages 9 points and 5reb and Schilling 6 and 3. There 4 guards score nearly 50 points a game with Valentine leading at 18ppg and Forbes at 14ppg. Sounds alot like our line-up with the 3 or 4 good guards and the inconsistent play underneath. Watching them last couple of games they are alot like us but I do believe we have more overall talent. MSU doesn't have much in there inside game. But we all know how Great Izzo becomes when the B10 Tourney starts and NCAA Tourney starts. Alot like Coach Cal developing his players to play better during March Madness and getting his team to march to the FInal Four.
