Valentine is playing. Iowa missing its best shooter and Iowa still hitting everything they put up.MSU could very well come back
Is Valentine still out?
With their best shooter on the bench in foul trouble. Iowa and Southern Cal are two teams to avoid because they can shoot anybody out of the gym when they are hot.Iowa has been impressive to be up 18 on the road with 1 minute left in the 1st half.
I thought Izzo was the greatest coach in the universe. How is he down 22 at half at home? Don't you know he would have already had 4 titles at UK? This score must be a misprint.
Cal by a mile. Not even close.I wonder what Izzo would do at UK. I'm sure he would do well enough, but I'd rather have Cal.
Hard to believe Iowa has never swept MSU.
Yeah, MSU was the one that was supposed to rout Iowa in a big revenge game.I saw the halftime score and couldn't believe it!!

What is the most loses for the #1 overall seed in the tournament? Because this is the year that record is likely broken.
Wasn't Lewisville the #1 overall in 2013 and 2009 with 5 losses? And wasn't FL the #1 overall in 07 with 5?
I think they have only done a "top 1 seed" ranking thing since like 2003 or 2004 so I'm not sure how to judge before that.
In 2000 Michigan State was a #1 seed with a 26-7 record.
Yep. And then get dominated in the Final Four. Feels like a typical Izzo team.Mich St will probably have a crummy big 10 season, so they'll probably make the final four.
