We would be trashing him too. Iowa has the problem that Kentucky had before we fired Gran and hire Coen. What good QB would want to go play in a system that's biggest priority is to not make mistakes and win the field position game for your defense?

Well to be fair, he isn’t very good. Do feel bad for him and his family for people to get personal but it is what it is, especially since the social media generation.

That has been going on all year long. Have alot of friends who are Iowa fans and every game is the same complaints. He is terrible but the back up is no better and the coach said he wouldn't make the trip to Nebraska if they had to play the 3rd string guy a few weeks ago.

Social Media is a cancer. All these keyboard warriors are terrible. It's one thing to criticize but there is no reason to get personal. Most of these people don't know a damn thing about football but alcohol and a keyboard makes them 10 feet tall. just once would like one of these jerks to be confronted and see how they react. Every fan base has them including us and it's embarrassing. The interaction that I have had in this board with there fans has been very classy. Hopefully the kid doesn't let them affect him and he accomplishes good things. Hell a couple of years ago we would have taken him as a transfer in a minute.

Agreed. I believe it's the way he's used as much as it's the QB. I don't believe their QB is great but he did make some really big plays. With better offensive concepts I believe they will attract more skill players and not end up with the TE as the primary target.

He's pretty average. Made some nice throws but other than LaPorta, I didn't think their receivers were that great.

He had guys open all day but just connected once. They completely waste a monster at TE with bad QB play.
