Injury update

You don't want to know. The injury list is ugly. Even CMS said we really needed a bye week this week to let some players heal up.
We are in deep $hit for the next two games.
No Jaques Jones. May be out rest of the year.
Maybe on Jj Weaver. Yeah, right.
Smoke has a concussion.
No word on Flax injury yet.
Levis broken finger.
Is that enough to make you sick?
There are others. Just can't remember them all.
1. Jones is our best Lber....but Square ain't far behind. But interior Lber is our deepest spots. Deryck Jackson is a very solid MLB. And Trevin Wallace is also at the WLB and can help is Square needs to move some snaps to MLB...and he's probably a top 5 NFL prospect on the team down the road. So that loss while is a blow...isn't debilitating.
2. Smoke....I'm sorry but I nearly always see more missed opportunities than plays made. That screen pass in first half was going to be a big play....he flat out drops it. I just don't lose sleep over him being out...we finally got the CRod back...I'm fine with McClain getting backup snaps.
3. Levis is fine. It's a dislocated finger. He pops it back in place...it is his non throwing hand. Big whoop.
4. Flax is the biggie by far. He may be the 2nd best Oline behind Manning. But if Wohlbaugh is next man up...that is deep doo doo. Wohlbaugh gave up the pressure on Will's fumble to end the game. He was so bad in opener they moved him out and then his 2nd play for Ole Miss he whiffs to screw the game. I am hoping Buford gets the nod if Goodwin can't play yet.
No reason to throw in the towel.....every team in SEC is losing valuable players this time of year.
Not sure why they don’t throw Goodwin into the fire, I’m sure we will make mistakes but all these guys are anyway and he will improve every game.
Problem with losing Jones is it effects depth. Where Jackson could spell Jones in the 2D Q and keep Jones fresh for the 4th Q now Jackson plays and could be fatigued at crunch time. It's a big deal. Maybe they could get a series out of Fulton, he's been pretty much relegated to STs and has become a forgotten man.
