It's been said that if your a ref and the fans know your name, then your not a good ref. Well, that's usually true, unless your Pat Adams. There isn't a referee in college basketball that wants you to know his name more then Pat Adams.
Pat Adams and Doug Shows are consistently bad refs for both teams. Just consistently awful. There's no punishment for being bad at your job if your a referee.
The above statement is not mine, but what I read when I put; Pat Adams, SEC referee in search, Pat Adams is disliked by most SEC coaches for his inconsistency on calls.
I don't know the answer to this problem, and evidently the "Powers to be" are not interested in correcting it. You can call a foul on just about every play, but that's not excuse for the inconsistencies we see in the SEC.
The technical foul called on Humphries was NOT one of the ten reasons to call a technical foul. It was NOT done in anger, or malice, or to disrespect the other team, but in being excited for his team.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!

I love how some posters say "just wait until the NCAA tourney-neutral courts and the refs won't have it out for us" Remember the shot clock violation "missed" by the refs last year in the tourney? Or the Napier flop?
