As a fan base, we have to keep that in perspective. We thought we had some world beaters after that Duke win, and now we have fans calling this an NIT team. The truth lies somewhere in the middle. Through 11 games, we have (1) NBA player who will develop into a starter in the league IMO in Jamal Murray. The rest of our talent is pretty limited to good college players.

There are three things that I know to be true for the rest of the season.

1. We are still better than UofL, and there is no chance that they beat us at Rupp.

2. Tyler Ulis is still a great college PG.

3. History tells us that there is a good chance that Cal will get this team to overachieve in the tournament.

Your first point is wrong. Louisville has the better team and they have a good chance of winning Saturday. Points two and three are correct. Ulis is a good point guard and Cal has overachieved in the tourney before with the 2011 and 2014 teams. However I don't know if this team will even make the tourney. Still lots of basketball to be played and the SEC is up this year. I wouldn't be surprised if they went 11-7 or 12-6 this year in conference.

Absolutely. If UK is going to play at 70 percent I'd rather it be in December than March. Nowhere to go but up.

Ul does not have a better team...have you lost your freaking mind...just go player by player...they dont have one guy on team who starts for us...not one...dont say spiderman Lee either

Why do you think Louisville definitely has the better team? They've beaten a bunch of high school teams and played one game against quality competition, which they lost. I think they would have, at best, the same record as us with the same schedule.
