Diallo will be one of the most exciting players in college basketball next season. While none of us expect Curry level shooting from the outside, if the kid can just knock some outside shots down, it will open the floor up a lot more and help him do what he does best and attack the basket. This kid would dunk on a few people next season. We probably have not had a guard that can fly like this kid in a long time, if ever. I know some worry about shooting, but this kid will do other things on the floor to help Kentucky win. The fact the kid is recruiting as hard for Kentucky next season shows the kid is at least a team player and understands the fact that signing as many talented players as you can sign can only help make the game that much easier for him. Let's just hope the kid doesn't blow up and enter the NBA draft. I know it's not likely at this point, but in today's colleege basketball world, you have to start expecting the unexpected. After the screw job we got against UNC, most Kentucky fans should understand by now that if the NCAA can help it, they will do their best from keeping Cal and Kentucky cutting down the nets. It's sad, really. I don't mind watching Kentucky lose a game. It has happened more times than not once the NCAA tourney starts, but to lose when we all know for fact that the refs were in UNC's pocket, it makes losing the game a lot harder. Cal has to recruit at an insane level if he wants to cut down the nets. The Ncaa is never going to allow the man to do it without their road blocks. If you recruit at a level no other team can recruit at and have the huge talent advantage, it just makes it harder for the Ncaa to take away the national championship from Cal and Kentucky. I bet Cal is now thinking the same thing. When you have a freak like Davis on the floor, the Ncaa really can't do much to keep Cal from cutting down the nets. When you don't, you see what can happen. Too bad every class doesn't have a freak like Davis to play in your frontcourt.
