Ummm I'm no rocket scientist but that equates to 50% as a team from downtown on an avg of 11 made threes per 22 attempts per game over the last three games.

That ladies and gentleman is torrid shooting.

More shooters on the team, but nobody was making shots, for one reason or another. Ulis still has to find his stride from 3.

Definitely best shooting team of the Cal era. And Cal realizes it, he has given them the green light to shoot it.

BTW, Tyler is shooting 39% from 3 in last 5 games, so I think he's shooting ok too.

Ulis - 9/23 - 39%
Murray - 23/50 - 46%
Willis - 11/27 - 41%

Not too bad, not too bad at all! Keep shooting like this and we are gonna be very hard to beat in the tournament.

This year's team is shooting 35 percent so far, with Murray and Lamb being the only shooters with a decent percentage.

Which is why our front court issues have disappeared and our defense has approved. This will be a live by the 3 die by the 3 team I think. Let's just hope we can keep it up for another month or so

The outside shooting has risen since Willis was inserted into the starting lineup. Derek gives the opposing defense a third shooter who has to be accounted for. This is not the sole reason of course but IMO it is a big reason for the team shooting lights out from downtown

Shot selection is a big key as well. At least for Murray if he ever gets that corner 3 off. Count it. I bet he hits 75 percent from the corner

I'm not worried about Ulis' 3 pt shooting at all. He got off to a cold start and is digging out. Also he winds up taking lower percentage, end of the shotclock 3's when other options have been exhausted. When he's open I feel good about his chances when he shoots it.

Basketball is much more fun when you make all of your shots. Basically what happened in 1998, when Jeff Sheppard magically turned from a 33% three-point shooter into a 46% three-point shooter down the stretch.
