In case anyone is bored, wants to argue

I read the thread. Nothing to really argue. Most of them aren't throwing stones at Kentucky or Calipari. They are simply pointing out a flaw in the system. A few even defended Cal saying there's a reason that kids go play for him and not as much to the other big schools.

What they say about Cal is true. He develops kids into being ready to PLAY in the NBA. The problem for us is that doesn't always lead to the best results while in college. The college game is officiated differently and approached differently. In an NBA style game where the pace is faster and the game is called more liberally, the best players and most talent depth generally wins more often than not. You can't necessarily win in the NBA playing only 5 or 6 guys for 48 minutes and with inferior talent. In college, it's possible, especially a one-and-done tournament.

Spoiler Alert: Some Penn State fans don't like Calipari and OAD kids. Others don't have a problem with it. Also a discussion on the Villanova roster.

Did you all hear the one about the penn state guy in the NBA? No? Well neither has any one else. They are irrelevant to basketball.

I keep reading all these other boards with "ways to fix the game" and it involves 3 year rules... yada yada yada. Not one is man enough to admit that all it is... is thinking of ways to nuder the elite schools and give their dinky teams a chance at winning.

Other than the typical Steeler's fan being a knuckledragger, most made good points. I had to post though, no need to talk crap about Sam Bowie not making it in the NBA. That one crossed the line for me.

I feel the story of how the OP found the Penn St. Board is more interesting IMO....
That's an easy one, I cruise several boards and this is actually a penn state football board that happened to bring g up coach Cal's recruiting.
What got me the most is the guy saying Cal doesn't develop players and no one in basketball would tell you he does. Figured that comment alone would be a field day.

Hate us cus they aint us! Like the guy who made the typo saying they should limit the amount of recruits allowed per class and by their stars, said 24 5 stars. Trying to be a know it all with the perfect solution. Everyone knows there are 13 scholarships. Bud Light should bring back their Real Men of Genius commercials and star him in it. Might want to learn how to post before spewing BS out of his mouth. Bet they wouldn't say this about their football team if James Frankling was getting the #1 recruiting class.
