I so want a dominant football team. I really expected 59-7 from a team with 1 FBS win in their history. So embarrassed and frustrated. I'll pull for them forever and I love coach stoops but dam n I'm not pleased. Sugar plumpers stay away and try to watch reality.

Very disappointed with the Dline. Maybe the team let off the gas, but either it's not good
we have no defensive line or quick LBs that can stop the run. Why would any team we play ever throw the ball and risk a turnover?

You expected UK to win this game 59-7? [laughing]

What the hell are you talking about "1 FBS win"?

We didn't let off the gas they quit playing bump and run with no help over the top. After that point ULL controlled the game. When they showed Hudspeth at half he told his team it was his fault for staying with the press man coverage too long.

Out D line is hot HOT garbage.
Lewis was the only positive really.
Miss Hatcher
Was Towles told NOT to pass to Conrad? I barely saw him run any routes?
Read option smoked us. OBC I am sure noticed
Towles has to get better and I would give him 2 more games to do it.

Pretty sure what they meant was ULL has one win against an SEC team in their history, not one FBS win.

That's how we beat Superior twice. He runs it down our throat and gets bored and then he lets us back in the game by throwing the ball. lol

lber's are the problem but flannigan and hatcher aren't in the lineup. good team we beat today. remember when people were putting us on upset alert and a couple polls had them ranked ahead of us? well that first half showed the difference in talent and it was sizable. we just got out played the second half because we thought they'd roll over and they played harder instead. hats off to them but i still want to see how we respond in columbia before i throw my hands up.

Yes, having Flannigan, Hatcher, and Johnson back can't hurt. Plus Meadows on the oline.

Not the best to start a season with so much hype. Defense lacked any pass rush. O line did run block very well. Dawson got a little pass happy at times I thought. UK won, but next week could be ugly.

So they scored 26 points on defense?

I'm constantly amazed how little people on here know about football.

In all fairness, Connor Mitch will probably make our defense look like the 85 bears and then we'll roll into the following week with the mouth breathers on here talking about how we're gonna blow out Florida.

Just my opinion of course, but I think some fans expectations were a bit inflated. There was a lot of hype about this team going into this game, but I think we need to realize this is going to be a tough mountain to climb. The advances up are going to be small, not come in huge strides. Jeez, in the first half some poster's were talking of easily beating USC and Florida. Uh no, it's not going to be easy. The talent level is still below that of most SEC teams, and a lot of the talent we have is very young and inexperienced. Bring those 52-7 thoughts down a bit, and just hope to see improved play, and more wins each year than the year before. By all means though don't give up. Far too many UK fans find that way too easy to do. Don't be one of them.

One win against an SEC team. not 1 FBS win

I get it, but this wasn't UT Martin. ULL has been to 4 straight bowl games and 4 nine win seasons. I thought 2nd half tonight was atrocious, but we got the win.

Permdaddy, UK actually did let off the gas. It wasn't the adjustments that ULL made. It was the poor execution of Towels, poor FG kicks, and the playing of 3rd stringers. UK lost the momentum because of the above and then it was a dog fight. I've played college athletics and I can attest that if you allow an inferior team to hang around or slack off, it can often times bite you in the rear.
