That Bo did not retire. It really does my heart good to see him suffer through a bad year, like this one. Now people will see that the old curmudgeon's coaching was not really the reason that Wisconsin had two great years. They had lightning in a bottle with the class they had, and now they will go back to obscurity.

Wisconsin doesn't get past U.K. in the Final Four last year if we just have our guys watch film on them prior to the game. Alas.

He's a fine coach, but rival fans and some uk fans make it sound like he is some titan on high because he split the series with cal with only the fourth or fifth most talented starting five in the country.

Listen to them talk, it's like every season he's just ripping apart college basketball with you, me, and three homeless guys he found outside the arena.

What do they say about self? Wins the conference every year? Izzo gets every player to a f4 by senior year, cal has gone to 4 of the last 5 f4s...

So what is the line they use for Bo? The pundits brag how he "never finishes lower than 4th in the conference". Uh, okay.

Well, that's great and all, and he does tend to have under talented rosters, but this notion that he's as good, much less or out the league of Cal, who was better than Bo with less talent at Umass, and who has winning records against all the other coaching legends and a split record with K while at UK... Just asinine

Numerous issues caused us to lose that game, some of which were:
- faulty shot clock management/refereeing
- cal decisions on who to play in crunch
- twins poor decision making
- injury
- Willie not showing up ready to play
- Booker playing D in FK (or attempts D)
- Booker being in that position more than once after being abused
- Andrew being able to run out the clock twice after the first time (why?)
- Wisconsin playing to win and us playing not to lose
- my wife switched seats with 4 minutes to go

That old man is a damn good ball coach. C'mon op you're better than that. Sounds like a louisville fan when they say Cal can't coach.

I agreed with him so I should take your blame too. i don't agree with you though...lightning in a bottle fits in this situation...He was a little too angry most of the time too. Had that RMK kind of wannabe look to him.

Whoa! This is a new development to me. Did anybody else know about this? Finally the truth comes out about what really happened last year. Was this an intentional seat switch or inadvertent?
