Illinois St. has beaten both Indiana and Louisville and is in the finals while Indiana and Louisville play in the elimination game Sunday. Let's hope Indiana beats U6 and then Ill. St. wins out!

Come on sweet big blue Jesus! Lets make this happen.

I've not been impressed with UL this year (outside of Detmers), something seems to be lacking. With that said, I thought UL got a cakewalk draw so I'm hoping Ill State can beat them one more time if Indiana fails to pull it off today.

Tied 3-3 b9th..u6 just got one of those non-existent tie goes to the runner at second base... Runners at first and second 0 outs

U6 wins with a walkoff single with bases loaded 2 outs and once again advances to super regionals...been a good day for AllCheatersConference. FSU(1 of last 4 in), u6, uncheat, Puke adavance to supers.

Puke also advances and they have porta-potties at their bb field...sorry, it is what it is , but damit we need some new leadership!!!
I wish I knew the answer. People wanted to fire Stoops early in his tenure here and look at him now. Baseball at Kentucky is a tough sell, we now have a good stadium, but I just don't know.

McDonnell that good? Asst at Miss now with 600 wins as a HC at u6. Built that program to great heights and seems to be a nice humble guy? Hard to dislike him. Great hire. Hate it.

I don't know if he will win a title there, but year in and year out he has them in the top 10-15 and competing at an extremely high level. He continually goes to the super regionals and to the CWS. He's done this at a school that was traditional a nothing at baseball and is seen as more northern than most successful programs. I'd put him as a top 5 coach.

Now, what I would love to find out (especially for UK to find out) is how much of his success can be attributed to Roger Williams, his pitching coach. Williams has been with him at UL the entire time. Williams was the pitching coach at UGA at one time, they went to the CWS. He was also the pitching coach at UNC for 11 years and continually had great success there as well.

I'd love to see what he can do here as a HC.

Not sure Roger has the personality to excel as a head coach.
And, unless it was a head job at a top 25 type program, it would be a pay cut for him.

No way it's a pay cut to be a HC in the SEC!!! Ludacris to believe something like that.

CB3...they have an excellent chance to win it this year. Hope not, but reality is reality.

Truly thought ECU would give them a run, but if yesterday is any indication I guess not. It's baseball though.

You may very well be correct. It is pretty telling that he has never made the leap to become a head coach. Still, he seems to be a major key in their success given that they regularly have a top 25 pitching staff. While they are a complete team, the hitting is usually not quite as good as the pitching.

Coach Ming is not going to win at UK - Mitch will fire him next year. Just not getting the recruits and not sure he can Coach
