Aside from having lost him to Ole Miss the first time, another reason Igbinosum could become interesting again to Stoops is that Jantzen Dunn may turn out to be a safety. IIRC, Kentucky may have been Igbinosum's second choice. Hopes are high for Dunn because he comes in from Ohio State. But he barely played there. Dunn will probably do well at Kentucky. But he is nowhere near being a proven corner. Stoops said they will start him at corner. Does not mean he can hold down a starting corner assignment. That gets worked out in practice. Let's say Dunn and Lovett become the starting safeties. If there is another scholarship for a corner, it would be good to have Igbinosum on the team.

I expect Lovett will be a starter for us for as long as he attends Kentucky. Childress is great in run support, but maybe not as good in coverage. Hardaway will start. We should not forget Afari, who might have more upside than everyone else in the secondary.
I haven't heard Auburn mentioned. He left due to his DC leaving. That was the only reason he was there. Rogers entered the portal thinking he was going to UM or another top school. Auburn ended up as one of the top options. I'm sure the money was good but after he seen his options he talked to UK about staying.
