I didn't see it, but several others said an A&M player did the same thing couple minutes earlier.
With the exception of what Pat Adams did to us at the end of this game I thought the officials called a better game than they have for months. They screwed up a couple calls but since SEC play started we have seen one sided officiating in every game.
But the op is right, the refs are going to make sure they have brand new, high performance whistles for that game.

The other black ref Jordan I think, really screwed us during a 5 minute stretch in 2n half. Briscoe couldn't breathe without getting a foul called. So tired of going into gms knowing their "agenda" will come out at some point. How many times did house walk in the gm? The last play he walked!
