IF we lose tonight, Pope needs to get some athletes

This year has been ok and I hope we pull out a miracle. But, Pope needs to get serious about some athletic talent for next year and beyond. We don't need any more slow centers or forwards that can't keep anyone in front of them.

You ACTUALLY believe Coach Pope doesn't think we need the VERY BEST players available to play for him at UK???!!!!

He had 4 FREAKIN WEEKS to put this group together and his BEST player was INJURED and OUT for the last half of the season and his second best player INJURED his shoulder and was NEVER the same even when he returned!!! Then his PF battled back injuries the ENTIRE season!!! And we STILL Beat Duke, UofL, UT(twice) and made it to a Sweet 16!!!!

Coach Pope WILL get "athletes" and "bucket getters" from this point forward!!!

Give the man a BREAK for how LITTLE time he had and the INJURIES he had to endure!!!

I'm sure Pope does know that he needs athletes. But knowing and actually getting them are two different things.

People are still beating a dead horse with saying Pope didn't have any time to make out the roster. Cal was hired April 10th of last year, and Pope was hired just two days later on April 12th. Therefore Cal and Pope both had the same amount of time to do such. The problem was that Pope was unable to bring the amount of kids over with him as Cal.

Pope still had his chance to get a majority of the top talent that put their names in the portal, but was unsuccessful. Heck a lot of them didn't even enter the portal until Pope was hired, so the excuse doesn't really carry much weight.

I know, I just said that Cal done that. I am saying, why couldn't Pope do the same with more of his former players at BYU other than Robinson? I mean kids should be begging to go to Kentucky over BYU.

And yes, I am very realistic.
