Biggest win is hard to say. Ranked in the top 5? Nope. We could win the next 5 national championships and wouldn't be ranked that high. I exaggerated but we will never get respect in the polls.
If we beat Georgia we control our destiny in the SEC East but for me our road just gets even harder after this game with Tennessee and Alabama still on the schedule.
I'd say beating Oklahoma in the 1951 Sugar Bowl is the biggest win in program history. One of 3 times we have beaten a team ranked No. 1.
We will probably be 21 or 22 this coming week. If you beat No. 1 Georgia at their place, you for sure vault into the Top 10 ... Top 5 is a little bit of a stretch (that is leap-frogging a bunch of people). We were No. 17 when we beat No. 1 LSU in 2007 ... and we jumped up to No. 8 in the AP Poll.

Bama was struggling early against the cowbells. But they've woken up a bit.
Tennessee will be a challenge. But heck all of our games left are easily losable. Or we could beat them like a drum. UGA is the only one that's probably a loss. But who knows?
It would because of where we are now. If we win there, we are top 10... maybe not top 5. But It's going to be a top 20 matchup with neither team able to say they overlooked the opponent. UGA knows they have to show to show up. I'm pretty sure UGa is aware that they can lose this game. This isn't going to be a sneak up on them type of game.
Idk. We were ranked 7th after knocking off LSU in 2007. The only other real win was Louisville prior to that.
I’d imagine knocking off the 2years undefeated defending champs at their place and current #1 a week after dominating a ranked UF that has a win over UT would put us in the top10 somewhere. Not too 4 but likely in the 5-10 striking distance range where we would be in the conversation if we only dropped 1 the rest of the way and either lost the title to a 2 loss Bama or loss to Bama at home but beat them in the sectT
We will be at least a touchdown dog next week, probably more. If we win, it will be the biggest win I remember because it will allow us to own our destiny to the title game. We will obviously have tough games after that, but beating the highest ranked team on our schedule and going to 6-0, with Bama and TN at home, it would give us a chance to have a season as special as 77.
