I can easily see this year's Final Four beating out any previous TV viewing records from past NCAA tournaments (if we go in undefeated). The interesting question is will do you think there will be more viewers cheering for or against UK?
Obviously, the fans of rival schools who follow college basketball will be hoping for us to lose since we've become the "evil empire" of college hoops. But, I would imagine a majority of viewers who watch the NCAA tournament usually don't watch, nor follow, college basketball much until the tournament begins-- you know the office-pool, bracket-filling, type of fan who only watches in March.
So, will the "average" viewer be hoping to see the "evil empire" of college basketball fail? Or, will the "average" viewer tune in unbiased to see if history can be made with going 40-0-- since college bb introduced the shock clock and 3-point shot?
