This was it. I mean it doesn't get any better than this if you are UL, aside from the game being at the Yum I guess.

- Briscoe injured
- Murray's worst game as a cat
- Outrebounded us by 10
- Got 11 more shot attempts than we did
- Fouls 19-21 (non factor)
- FTA's 25-22 (non factor)

They can piss and moan and make whatever excuse they need to feel better about today, but the bottom line is they failed to win the best chance they've had in a while, and likely the best chance they will have for a while.

We let them back in....they were about to fold at the start of the 2nd half...but then foul city and murray trying to be a globetrotter

Rick had the ball with 12.5 on the clock. I was expecting the '3' to win at the buzzer. Chef Chefski only needed 2.5. Thankfully they unraveled on the way down the floor.

Don't tell their fans about fouls and free throws being that close. According to them it was clearly called very one sided

Yes we did, had them run out of the gym but let them back in. Their players seem like decent kids but Pitino more than makes up for that. I hope they go on to be a decent team since they came within a made 3 of winning. Are they a little better than we want to give them credit for being.

I don't know how big of a win this was but we sure as hell avoided a huge loss

They are better than I thought before the year, but that's not because of Rick..it's because he got two 5th yr seniors. Lee is really really good. Other than that, I don't see much progression for them. That's the exciting thing about us most yrs..is we will grow and develop

Lee is a good player, my other point was that they seem like decent kids(not thugs) in spite of Rick. If they can continue to pick up wins and even knock off a team or two they probably shouldn't then it helps us down the road this year.

I agree that their team seems like good kids. For the most part if we are looking at individuals on their team, I like pretty much all of them... I think both UK and UL have relatively likeable teams this year in terms of players, which isn't the case very often.
