Would anyone complain? I can see it now, one game they call off-sides and false starts correctly, then the next game they let defenses play in the neutral zone and tee off on qbs, or offenses get a head start and roll over the defensive line. The outcry would be tremendous because it would neutralize the better team that doesn't have to break the rules to win.
So why does the sports world allow it in college basketball? It's not like it can't be fixed. The NBA has done a decent job in this area.e.
