because tonight’s win was a symbolic return of UK team-first basketball. Helluva comeback. Helluva team win. It’s just a single win in the first half of November, but UK was the underdog in a nationally televised game, it was against Dook, and it was cathartic. From now on, any reference to him by me will be as CBP - the coach before Pope.

Pope understands that no coach or player will ever be greater than UK. There has been greatness before, there can be greatness now, and there will greatness after.

Won't be a better comment in any thread on any site in the world tonight. UK isn't 1 coach. 1 player. 1 fan. Kentucky basketball is everyone who gives their time to respect, love, and appreciate it.

I hate to point out the obvious but Pope is undefeated here which includes beating one of our most hated rivals everytime we have faced them since Pope got here. Truly legendary coaching.
