i want to start my own company so where do I start?

I'd consider choosing an attorney and a CPA. Both are integral to start ups; especially if theres intent to grow.

Not all intend to grow, and that's ok, but most of those also need those 2 professionals.

Yes, do those things if you want to dip into your start-up capital to pay somebody else to do paperwork that you can do yourself. If you can't do the start-up for a small business without an attorney or a CPA, then you are probably too lazy to even start a business.

When the business reaches a certain level of income, then the attorney and/or CPA might be necessary.

I would strongly advise you to take your idea and contact your local SCORE Officer (Service Corp of Retired Executives).
This is a volunteer organization of retired business executives and small business owners with a variety of backgrounds that offer free counseling and mentoring services. You can get a lot of excellent advise and help, that will get you on the right track and help you avoid the costly pitfalls.

How do I know this? I'm a former small business owner and have been a SCORE Counselor for the past three years. Good luck with your biz.

The best place to start is with a cool name....

and some hot models for commercials

then everything will fall right into place

With an Idea.

If someone steals your idea, try to figure out how many guys you can jerk-off in 10 minutes.

I'm looking to start a business too. I want to 3D print diapers.
For perv adults? You've hit a gold mine.
ha! Actually seeing how the poors basically blow all of their low income on cigarettes and diapers, I thought "what if I were to 3D print out cheap disposable diapers for the poors".
It's a goldmine. Plus, you brought out another idea. Fetish. Plus Nursing homes. Print them out some diapers and save us taxpayers on Medicaid costs. hmmmm..

Keys to starting your own business

2. If a customer asks for credit forget it.
3. Make sure you have a right hand man to go over your finances
4. Keep your competition close, they love to watch you fail
5. Offer retirement plans, such as 401k, and medical benefits they will come in handy
