Well, I kept saying Knox to UK and got nothing but grief from some people. You were so sure he was headed to Duke. Hee Haw Hee Haw. I here things from time to time, and I try to give little hints to this board. Let me give another one Bamba to UK as of yesterday. Not sure how Knox's decision would influence Bamba's choice, but I see it as a positive since they are friends. Now those of you that were so sure Duke would get Knox can kiss my grits. You don't matter but the other members do.

Ixnay on the I told you so stuff. You probably expressed your opinion on this before Knox himself knew what he would decide. LOL! Nobody in the basketball business believed Knox would pick Kentucky. Having said that, I also believe this is a great example of why people shouldn't take the Crystal Ball seriously. Nobody thought Bam Adebayo would pick UK. Nobody thought Jamal Murray would pick UK. Until a player signs, other people's opinions are basically worthless.

I didn't follow crystal ball much before but will never even give it any credence in the future. In reality, no one really has a clue until the recruit announces, including the OP for this thread who seems to get off on patting himself on the back.

Honestly, I don't mind people making claims and then seeking credit afterwards. The biggest issue to me is if you want people to listen, then stick your name on it.

Start linking in-thread predictions (preferably unpopular ones) in your posting signature, and after you've accrued a few that worked out, people will give you more benefit of the doubt - could even result in serious forum street cred down the road. And that's the best kind of street cred.

I am confused as to why I am not reading a few reports that say 3 point shooting is a weakness of his? I have thought all along it was a strength of his! Im glad to have him regardless obviously.
 
In point of fact, OP did make a clear positive prediction, one that was popularly viewed as highly unlikely at the time despite what anyone claims in revision, and he turned out to be correct.

While it doesn't absolutely establish the reliability of what he may say he hears going forward, I'd like to point out that he has in fact already proven himself about a thousand times more reliable than one "Coach Blevins." And if you remember, seven years ago a majority of the board was on that guy's nuts for months. (Not me, all I ever did was mock that rat bastard even long before he was proven horrifically wrong and had to leave the board or come back under another name. But most of the board.)

If so many of us could enshrine that other dude for so long for doing nothing but making astoundingly unlucky guesses, I don't see why we can't give some kudos to OP even if turns out all he did was make one lucky guess.

Well done, Ocornett. Here's hoping you're spot on about Bamba too.

I don't follow UK recruiting close enough to comment or make suppositions about where recruits may be going; however, I will tell you this: gloating is not one of most endearing qualities. But I will admit one very big thing--you are quite right about the "Hee Haw" part of your post.
