I thought the SEC was a football conference, and UK was a basketball school?

It seems that this year at least we'll have the worst in both sports. We're a borderline NIT team in basketball, and have been very Jekyll and Hyde since the beginning of the season.

We all feel the pain in football.

Being a UK fan sucks. No football and the basketball team has had three bad regular season in the past four years. No pro teams to fall back on either.

I keep telling myself that 16-17 is setting up to be a big reward for this crappy sports year, at least as far as UK football and basketball is concerned.

The Bengals will always be idiots and losers, and the Reds have just given up entirely, so I'm putting all my eggs in the basket of UK coming through for me. A lot of positives with UK football with the recruits coming in (especially on the O-Line which is a huge area of need) and quality coaching hires, but the schedule is a lot tougher than the one we failed to take advantage of this past season. And of course next years basketball recruiting class is very encouraging not just with the rankings but with tough-minded and physical players, I just hope Ulis returns for his junior season, I truly don't care if every other player leaves I just want him back out there as the steadying force for the young guys.
