Did we get beat off the dribble and give up a ton of 3 pt attempts, yes, but UT shot HORRIBLY because of our length. Heck, Brea even did a lot better on the defensive end tonight!!!

Their mistake was jacking up 45 threes. They should have been taking it to the hole and beating us up like everyone else. We got a gift.

Some mock drafts are showing Robinson and Brea in the 35 to 40 range (second round). The scouts seem to love their length and ability to shoot over people. I’m guessing that the NBA guys think they can teach them enough defense to get by.

But I think you’re absolutely right that these guys were nightmare matchup for Tennessee, on both ends.

No it wasn't.

They were much more physical and stayed in front of their man better tonight than we have in a while. We made them shoot over the defense. They shot 34% and took 45 FREAKIN 3's!!! The most an opponent has EVER shot against UK!!! And they made 11 which was 24%!!

That's GREAT defense for a team shorthanded. The Vols aren't offensive juggernauts, but our team made them work for every shot.

Brea was fine in the second half, but defensively he was awful in the first half. But, that is a good example of the beauty of this team. I was not happy with him in the first half, but we don't win without his play in the second half. It just seems we can have guys have shaky first halves and be studs in the second half more than in past years.
