That has to be the worst run franchise (along with the Knicks) and they're never competitive. Never. Had the best center in the league for six and a half years and never did anything for him.

They will rot away in SAC. Hope they get a better spot.

Can't argue with that at all. There are several other franchises I would prefer they not go to as well but, unfortunately, the rules of the draft will probably result in them having a good chance of going to one of the worst run organizations that are going nowhere. We'll soon find out.

Gotta love how we reward garbage organizations. Basically, it means a stud is usually going to rot on a trash team for years until they get help or until they leave for free agency.

This is what happens to most of our guys. Wall finally got a team to a decent finish. But hate seeing studs like AD not get the chance to win rings.

Rings are great, but It is all about the money on all fronts of the NBA. Some recent UK players are in a hurricane of money. Many more moving towards there.

You're half right. I still think the best guys in the league want to win more than anything. They're going to get rich no matter where they play as they are so good. But, if you ask AD, Cousins, Wall, etc. I'm sure they would all trade a year's contract for a ring. They still all want to win the big one, no matter what level they are on. Money? They all have more than they could ever use already. I doubt there are few NBA stars who wouldn't want to win a title before they retire.

It happens to all top players, not just our UK guys but I know exactly what you mean. Philadelphia has been a dead zone for many years although they may be showing signs of some life now but Detroit is another place where top players might go to win nothing along with Sacramento and a few others. Davis was silly to sign an extension with NO although with Cousins now being there and, if they can add a few other pieces, they could turn things around, MAYBE!!!!

Rot away? Lmao. Boogie cried about having to leaving Sacramento.

What some of you guys don't realize is that some of these "shitty" organizations are home for these guys. Of course they want to win, but if not...then making a gazillion dollars, being the face of a franchise, and being loved by your city, fans, and community isn't hardly" rotting away. "

I hope they keep their dough. It's not what you make. It's what you keep.

It's pretty obvious I meant no postseason success and playing on teams with zero chance of competing

The majority of the league appears to be bad and mishandled franchises, but that's just because they're not winning. Same could be said about the Warriors and the Cavs just a couple years back.

It wouldn't be wrong to be a tad pessimistic about how the Kings will handle things from this point on, but shipping Boogie was a step in the right direction for their organization. Will it end up benefiting Boogie as well? Only time will tell, but as of now it looks like more of the same for him in NO.

I remember people saying that about the warriors and the patriots. The organization isn't good but the right player can make he worse organization better. Unfortunely since the Webber days they just haven't drafted that player. They have drafted some good talent but no one who can make others better.

I think Fox would make others better if they drafted him, I think Monk would fall into the good talent that put up good numbers for them but won't win much, with his game he needs a specific group of skilled players around him to have the most impact team wise
