I read that Jerry Seinfeld has a net worth of around 1 billion dollars.

Julia Louis Dreyfus has a net worth close to 250 million due to being in a few other series but Jason Alexander and Michael Richards have a net worth of around 45-50 million. He probably should give them a bigger cut of the pie because while I understand he was the writer and developer of the show without Kramer, George and Elaine the show would have went no where.

Seinfeld created the show with David and collected all the spoils. The other 3 were not going to another year or two unless thery got a bigger piece of the pie., I think they got 1 mill/episode for their last year(s).

I'm good with that. The show was pretty much the same as his standup. So, his ideas = his money. Songwriters own the songs, not the singers.

His ideas? You mean Larry David? Not that Jerry Seinfeld doesn't track with his comedy.. but no, the show is Larry's, his humor and his creativity. It certainly shows in Curb.. which I find a ton better than Seinfeld.

Fair enough. He had a big part of it but his net worth reflects that.

Elvis wanted to record Dolly Partin's "I Will Always Love You" but the Colonel insisted upon 50% of the publishing rights (he always did). Dolly refused. That would have cost her untold millions of dollars over the years. More than 30 people have recorded that song.

By far my favorite sitcom of all time. There are some scenes in Seinfeld that would not float in todays society.

I'm a big fan of veep. Julia is still looking good 20+ years after Seinfeld

JLD I think is the daughter of the founder of the Dreyfus’s Group a multi generational family business involved in many different business functions.

I heard this a long time ago and did the research and her story is quite interesting. I can’t remember exactly but it seems she was the favored child even tho she pursued acting as a profession as opposed to joining the family business.

Fvck both them (for willingly signing contracts), and their agents (for not negotiating better contracts).

Why are there no black people on Seinfeld?
Damn, you're right. I've seen every episode multiple times, and the only black character I can remember was the Kenyan marathon runner that overslept because the power went out due to Kramer tripping a breaker in his hot tub.

Edit: remembered another one. The caregiver that rubbed oil on George's bald head. Such a great show.
