If I wanted a basketball analysis, I would say that Dwight (blur) Anderson pulled out a game for us when we thought we had lost a game.... LSU had UK down by 30 points at half time and UK came back and won the game, I never would have thought that... Pull games out of the fire is what good teams do... I never thought that UK would score three TD's in 7+ minutes.....
I don't like anyone to say, we're going to beat this team by 50 points... First, it fires up the other team... Second, it causes your team to play like they're playing against high school kids....
I think that Stoops should apologize to the team for telling the media that he would get all his players some game time, especially the QB.... This was the same as saying, EKU cannot play with us... Players would get a tongue lashing for that...
What happened, EKU lost a teammate and were playing for him... They weren't going to let UK come out and punch them in the face first, like they thought UK would want to do...... They got just the opposite and it gave them hope and they played harder....
Our team was told by the coaches to draw it in, because he would be paying attention, so guess what? UK players drew it in, but we still won.... Great team....
Bottom line UK won and those that are gripping about not winning my 50 points are behind the eight ball....
