What do you mean by competitive? We’ll be competitive next year with anyone other than the elite teams.
I know that you don’t see it this way but you guys beat us without our quarterback and top two running backs. I know that injuries are a part of the game but I don’t think Kentucky wins if the roles were reversed and you were playing with backups and we were healthy. Jmo

Cunningham had broken his left hand against JMU and sprained his throwing shoulder against Clemson, he shouldn’t have played at all against Kentucky. I’m not making excuses, just saying that it’s not like Brohm is taking over what Stoops did when he came to Kentucky.

Cunningham couldn’t make Louisville competitive against UK in the three years prior that he did start. You think the fourth time was going to be a charm? We were without one of our top receivers and a couple of our best defensive players. Your excuses don’t fly here.

Not saying we would win with Cunningham, I was saying that if y’all were playing without Levis we would have had a good chance of winning.

Nope, but our defense was much better this year than in the past. Cunningham wasn’t an accurate passer for sure, he wasn’t even the threat this year with his legs because they had him dropping back instead of rolling out.

Not a single team from the Big 10 West is ranked. His Purdue team lost to the 3rd place team in the ACC Atlantic Division. Sounds like his best, make that absolute best Purdue team would’ve finished about fourth in the Atlantic Division of the ACC this year. Or, exactly where UofL finished this year. Doesn’t sound like much of an upgrade to me.
What I mean by competitive is competitive with UK.
We were unhealthy too. Aren't you losing your QB? What about the RBs?

Being a UK fan from outside of Kentucky, I never understood Louisville. I didn’t think anything of y’all growing up because it’s all UT/ UK in SEC country as our rival. Louisville isn’t nationally recognized much at all, I didn’t hate Lou like because I never considered them. Just a small CUSA team when I was a kid.
What I’m saying is nobody outside of your city thinks anything about Louisville. You still have time to jump on the UK bandwagon and I’m sure you’re from Kentucky because Louisville has no national base.
Just do it you’ll feel better. Because no one outside of your town even knows who you are. It’s embarrassing save yourself.

No. We had a really bad OC and OL. AND FYI, our QB was busted up too. You would have thought that a better D would have limited a hurt QB enough to win a game. Guess not.
