Yes, We definitely need him and could use him bad. Going to get banged around inside unless we get him or Thorne.
If Diallo wants to pick an assistant over a Hall of Fame coach, I don't know what we can do. I still find it hard to believe Cal won't get 1 or 2 of the last pickings.
I think Slice's pull with Diallo is extremely over-rated. I think he's more likely to KU than SJU.
Diallo would compete with Perry Ellis and carlton bragg at the of position at kansas. Diallo would compete with Alex poythress, and Marcus Lee at of at UK. I think diallo would get more PT at UK then KU

Would love to land Diallo. If anything, it would be great seeing Slice fail in his first assignment; and no, hoping that a recruiting opponent fails is not bad sportsmanship. That's exactly what Slice is now - a recruiting opponent who would throw our program to the wolves if it meant landing Diallo.
Cal is suppose to meet with Diallo Monday. One of those rare intensified guys that you don't see a lot of anymore. His style would fit in perfect with the type of players we have so far.

Would love to see this kid at UK. I would rather have him than some of the others. Let's pray Cal can convince him to come. The other kid I would want would be Ingram. Get those two and we would be set.
This kid is ridiculous and, IMO, should be a primary target along with probably Ingram. I don't care if we have to put Alex at the 3, Diallo is just a monster and one of the best in this class IMO. Him alongside Skal would be insane. Athleticism, VERY good defensive capabilities and probably a better offfensive presence than even last year in the post (though I'd give last year the edge in defense).
