I'm rooting for the big fella to regain his confidence and play better the rest of the season.Be nice if he returns for his sophmore season. But we know that's not going to happen.

I believe all UofK fans like Skal, and are pulling for him. He just has a low basketball IQ at the present time, but that will improve. Wish he would stay at UofK one more year. With Cal coaching him one more year, his play would be much different.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!

With the current incoming class of Fox, Monk, Adebayo, Killeya-Jones and Gabriel added to likely returnees Humphries, Mathews, Wynyard, Hawkins and Willis, that only leaves three scholarships available to Skal, Murray, Ulis, Briscoe and Lee, right? And Uk is still going after Bolden? I know Murray is going to leave. I don't know about Lee but he doesn't seem like someone the NBA is dying to get their hands on. seems like Skal really has no choice BUT to leave, right?

The question is, if he's gonna come back and still play like a p****, do we want him back? Well that would obviously be a no because he'd be in the way of Bolden. But if he comes back 20-25lbs heavier, with a year of experience, more confidence, more aggressive and more physical and plays up to his potential we'd be unbeatable. Because his potential as a Soph, is AD as a Freshman IMO. If he could come back and be that superstar everyone thought he'd be this year and be in the running for the wooden award and all that then yeah I definitely want him back. He should put up something like 12pts, 8rbs, 3blks. But I don't know if all that would happen so I really hope we just get Bolden instead. With him we know we'll be getting a good low post scorer.

But you can see the talent level peaking out that had NBA scouts intrigued. He's like a really unpolished diamond.

I would like to think he could be ready to help us by the NCAA tournament time, but more than likely we will just get spot play out of him. We all want this young man to do well but it may not be this year. I sure hope I am wrong.
