Not sure the kid loves a game he really just started playing compared to most high ranking young men. And thats ok.

He is a very smart young man who with a degree and the backing of BBN , him and his family will live pretty well off. So the nba or bust for him is not the end of the world.

At the same time UK is so stacked with nba ready talent next year, what we do not achieve this year, the future still looks pretty freaking bright.

My hope would be to just let the kid fall back and grow and enjoy his time in coll. Hump and wyn have zero pressure. I understand they did not come in with the hype, but think now its pretty clear skal is just not ready.

But sadly i think some adults will move this kid a long way to fast all for the mighty dollar. If you know anything about his handler,he has a lot invested in skal. Not sure it was so skal could be wealthy and not filthy rich.

Skal just looks so uncomfortable in his own skin. The only thing to fix that is time and growth. Would love if cal stepped in at the end of the year and do what he says he never would do. And thats insist and lobby for skal to return. Not for bbn. We really will not need him, but for skal and peace of mind. Hell if skal came out tomorrow and said ill be back. I think that would take the world off his shoulders.

Good thoughts! Any parent understands your well stated sentiments . All kids develop at different speeds.
