When people would say UK could never be a a really good football program, I always thought that was bs. I always felt that it was a case of UK not investing and going all in. I now realize that I was wrong. UK will never be anything more tham an occasional 10 win team. When teams like Auburn and UF are struggling, what chance does UK really have? I now know that UK will never be more than a middle of the pack SEC team. I had such high hopes for this year only to realize that this is UK and great things are not possible for UK.

No they really are not. This program is a cursed one. Basketball school through and through.

Lol. I’ve been banned prolly 10 times in this site literally just stating the truth because the nut huggers don’t agree.
Stoops has peaked. If you want to take the next step then prepare to send 10+ million a year for a coach who can get it done.

1st thing I’d do is kick Ruffalo off the team
Fire skankarello in knoxville
Levi’s has never been and will never be a first round qb. I feel bad for any nfl team that takes him.
fat heupel has done more in two years than kentucky has pretty much ever done in its existence. That team is really good but there defense sucks. There secondary are chumps. If Levi’s was as good as advertised he would have eat these guys up.

hopefully those that think this program is in good shape no matter what happens stays offline tonight. I’m sure some of Barnhart paid ops will
Be on here saying everything is fine.
Truth is I’m not sure we can beat the hooker university. Literal penn st junior to the west of us beat the horse piss out of wake forest tonight. It might be a weak acc team but they were still ranked way above us.
I think it’s possible the only game we win the rest of the year is vandy. That’s a bowl I guess lol. Missouri is looking more like a loss.
7-5 or worse and I don’t know how you bring stoops back.

In to basketball baby. Looking good on the court🤌
Tennessee will own your ass there too.

You never were but still ran your mouth like you ever had a chance in this game. Maybe now your fan base will learn its place in the SEC.
Maybe you will cry win we win #9 as Fredrick burns the nets down with a last second three to deny your Vols their 1st ever title n basketball.
Cant wait!
He he, we have options.

This program sucks. Thank god for college basketball and NFL.
Then move in to those boards child. Nothing making you come here… oh wait… you’re feeling negative and decided everyone else should feel the same way you do.

After all of the outrageous posts you make time after time after time you need to be perma banned from any UK site. Not trying to be a jerk but posting on message boards is NOT your strong point.

We have absolutely no line something we have had for the last few years but not this year. Can't see improvement next year unless we get really lucky in the portal.

You’re wrong.

This is part of building a program. Just like you have seasons that are unexpectedly good, you’ll have seasons that are unexpectedly bad. It happens to even the more prominent football programs.

We can still be 8-4 this year. That’s not where we thought we would be with who we had back, but that’s better than 7-5. It’s all part of the building process. I don’t know how far Stoops can take us, but I do believe he can take us higher than where we’re at now.

To those that say ‘Look at Tennessee,’ that is smoke and mirrors. They have laid a foundation of sand at this point. They’ll find out as soon as they get caught cheating, Heupel leaves for a better job, etc.

Sure didn't take Heupel 10 yrs he's done it in less than two full years. He schooled Stoopid and Scangerelo.

I'd take UT's offense over ours in a heartbeat

Put the pipe down

We have to recruit better, as good as Stoops has been in recruiting we still are usually 8-9 behind rest of SEC in recruit ranking without NIL . Next year unless we strike gold with last few recruits we will be ranked 10th in SEC. How do we get the kids that the conference teams ahead of us are getting I really don't know. We can't tell them they could be playing g for a championship someday, we can't tell them they will play in an 3xciting offense .WE can't even tell them they will play in a great defense because our offense is so bad it puts defense in bad spots too often. I really have no answer and I don't think Stoops does either

10 wins is the ceiling with stoops, that’s fine but everybody needs to accept it now

I do agree with the ceiling- just not sure we will see 10 wins with him going forward.
Next year for Tennessee wil be interesting, because they won’t have a 25 year old QB, but huepel can recruit, UGA will always be good, SCAR and Florida are in the same area Kentucky is, Florida is worse probability, and Mizzou and vandy are worse. Kentucky can’t get to 9 wins but stoops and company have to clean up a lot of things

Actually, most on this board thought we'd be at 7-8 wins. They thought we'd lose to OM, UT, UF, and UGA at least. Some had 9-3.

I thought we'd win 10 and possibly 11, so I'm the outlier who was wrong.

I truly thought Levis would have gotten better. When he's had enough time, he still is fixating instead of reading the defense and going through progressions. It's not easy, but that was what he had to work on. Instead of taking what the defense is giving, it seems he's trying to "make the big play."

Our OC is either overthinking things or too busy trying to set up big plays to run a productive and rhythmed offense. He's either on or way off in his play calling. Unbearable to watch unless you're a horror fan

The offensive line is the biggest reason this season has not come close to what most we're expecting. Levis has been disappointing as well, but you gotta give him protection. How many times has he been sacked? I don't care how talented a guy is, if he has no protection, he can't score. I knew Tennessee would throw the kitchen sink at him tonight, and it worked. A couple of those interceptions were inexcusable, though. Nothing went right tonight. This OC was bragging on the pro-style offense this week but he didn't back it up tonight. Play calling was very vanilla. Run on 1st. Run on 2nd. Pass on 3rd. Receiver screen. Tail back screen. Can't score on one of the worst secondaries in the nation! This was a total systems failure- offensive line, quarterback, receivers, offensive coordinator.

I wonder if we could trade OC's with UT Martin. They did score more on UT than we did. Levi's has never looked comfortable in this offense. Our O line has not been cohesive all year and our special teams are an abomination. Our defense really struggles at dline hardly any pressure applied on opposing QB's, and our strongest suit linebackers hasn't the depth to overcome the injuries we have. As of now Vandy looks to be the only safeW left our schedule. MO has steadily improved throughout the season and U of L will not.be a gimme.

Every team has scored more than us vs Tenn this year except Akron (1-8) and even they scored 6.

And then will lose in the first weekend like they always do, because Barnes can’t coach in the tournament. You brag about basketball to us, when St. Peter’s has as many elite 8 appearances as you all. Stay in your lane and enjoy your football team
I'd be careful saying Barnes can't coach in tourney......if I recall we got beat by the mighty St Peters in the first round, didn't do any better the year before that, so evidently anymore it seems Cal can't either. Barnes couldn't do much worse, plus he doesn't have as high of recruiting classes as Cal gets.

So Barnes is doing it with less talent, I hate the Vawls as much as anyone, but let's take off the blue tint glasses and face reality. Lastly, do you really think most UT fans care about bball????? No they don't as it's the little brother to Football and I feel that way too. Football is a superior gameday experience and more entertaining at least to me.

Vandy isn't a safe W either.....if you've watched Vandy lately, you'd know they look as good as we do, they may not be as good but they have fight in them and they're improving every game. We could as easily lose all remaining games just as we could win all but the UGA game.

Levis has to develop some pocket presence, yes the O line sucks, but he takes too many sacks on his own....he holds the ball too long as doesn't throw it away and ends up taking the sack, not to mention he doesn't run with the ball like he did last year. The failures of this team is the sum of ALL parts including poor coaching. Scangerelo is just not a good college OC and I'm not sure on O line coach Yenser either.

Its not going to change as Stoops doesn't want a quick scoring offense
