The fact that Towles is looking at a big year. The fact that our WRs are freaks (in a good way) or about Chris Westry will be a huge boost to our CBs. I'm just beyond pumped to see this team.

I figured Towles to be much improved this year and figured with Badet and Montgomery coming back as well as the FR receivers becoming SOs our WR corps could be special. What excites me most is Westry. If this kid is that lock-down CB we've been missing for too many years it would be a HUGE boost to the defense.

I'd have to say it's Westry.. If not simply because he is a 6'4 CB with elite speed.. Im just ready to see the first WR try to win a jump ball over him

I'm excited to see how much our defense has improved on a run defense that was ranked 94th in the nation. We pretty much know we're going to get a solid offensive showing, but if we can't improve that 94th-ranked run defense our offensive weapons will be kept off the field and our defense will end up being drained

If you look at the numbers from the second half of last season.. We went 3 and out A LOT (around 50% I believe) so, if we have a better offense that not only moves but can also simply posses the football I think instantly helps our defense and keeps them fresher

He will be a real weapon especially in the red zone when quite a few jump balls are thrown. He won't win every jump ball but he will win quite a few of them which will be huge.

Yeah a better run game and overall offense will help the defense..that run defense just has to improve, no two ways about it..we need to get better in a lot of areas, but run defense is at the top of my list right now..i got encouraged by seeing flashes of what our defense could play like at times but it's a lot like the rest of our team, we just need to be more consistent

Am hopeful that our run defense is much improved. If we can stay healthy. LB depth is worying me a little but nobody is seriously injured or anything so at least there is that. It's just getting them all back together at the same time!

I haven't been this excited for a season in quite awhile. Looking forward to seeing how some of the new guys play, particularly Conrad, Big George, Westry, Walker and Ware. But when I stop and think I'm pretty damn excited to see all the guys. There is alot of talent on this team now and can't wait to see how they do. That 2014 class should be starting to show just how good a class they were.
