Cal loved to draw fouls and shoot free throws. Pope doesn’t really do that. Cals style makes the game waaaaay longer.

I also think they have shorter tv timeouts

As noted, Pope’s system has something to do with. There’s less fouling when teams are moving the ball with the pass more than dribble, and hunting for open outside threes more than drives to the hoop into traffic.

The reason the games have finished so quickly is there were only 2 team timeouts yesterday and only 1 team timeout the first game. Also in huge blowouts, the last 4 minutes of games take about 5 minutes to play versus 20 minutes in tight games.

Carr's 2nd foul was a joke. He was in position and set before the offensive player planted his foot to jump, he was out of the restricted area and he didn't move once set. That was as text book of a charge as you could ever see.
