I can see SKJ playing some center next season..

he needs some meat or he'll get pushed all over the place
Anthony Davis says hi.

Jokes aside, I think what Butters said has some merit. His posts are just so shallow and not thought provoking that we push them aside.

If for example he prefaced the OP with: I know we haven't seen much from SKJ in the past, and the fact he didn't play a minute for nearly the entire second half of the season leaves us wondering does he even belong at UK? Well we all remember how good he was in BBM and the first few games. He's tall, has a nice touch, and good measurements. I think with some work in the weight room he can fill out that frame and either start or work his way up to 6th or 7th man off the bench depending on what we need.

That's how you should've started this thread Butters.

FWIW, I think SKJ has the potential to start over Richards this year. It really depends on who works harder though.

Skj played football in highschool so I'm sure he can play center. He maybe the height to be a center, but he's a 4 and I do expect him to play some this year and contribute some. He's a lot like skal he can hit the 15 footer but is soft as butter down low which make sure him a four. If we get bamba it will allow skj to play the four 5-10 mins a game and by his jr yr he will be a bigger contributor and we will need him as we will probably lose a few players and it will bebnice to have a couple hold overs. Btw the rash is clearing up nicely, how ya been smooth?

If he gets stronger AND UK doesn't get Bamba he will have a good chance to start at C. Richards is a better defender while SKJ is more skilled AND has a year in the system. it would not surprise me at all if he, along with Wenyen start at PF and C

Bamba isn't exactly Shaq, SKJ will contribute

No he most definetly isn't but he would likely start due to his defense BUT he's not so good that he would get every minute he wants, nor is SKJ the soph version so bad that he will get freshman minutes (not a given but likely he plays a lot more)

Unless he's drastically improved, and got stronger and/or Richards aint ready he wont play much. Knox, Vanderbilt, Bamba, Washington, Richards, and Gabriel will prolly be the frontcourt. SKJ has to beat out Richards or Gabriel and I don't see it.
