I assume the honeymoon is over at Michigan St for Mel Tucker

Buttload of transfers last year. Key one being Walker. Good season.

Another buttload this year. No Walker type impact player. Bad start.

Lots of miracle coaches sucking.

Frost of course gone at Nebraska.
Harsin about to combust at Auburn.
Venables aka “the defensive zen master” defense is sucking majorly at OU.
Freeman struggling at ND.

Just goes to show. Be careful what you wish for.
After the opening game debacle vs FSU, Brian Kelly and LSU doing fairly well.

Yeah. That won’t last. Barely beat a turrrible Auburn team.

They’ve played one good team in Miss St.

Their other wins consist of blowing out Georgia Southern and New Mexico. Whew. Might opponents.

They now face UT, and then Ole Miss. with IF I’m between. They could easily win all three or lose all three.

I’ll be rooting for a monsoon on Saturday.

True that. I just wonder if the insane salaries and expensive buyout clauses have caused complacency in big $$ coaches. Or, they could have just been overrated.

I'd Dumbo Fisher to the list of coaches not earning their huge paychecks. Tucker, Fisher, and Satterfield have to feel those flames growing.

Great list.....lot of balloon bursting going on. The Notre Dame coach especially looks terrible in that list. They had a damn good roster as well coming back.

Problem for Notre Dame is a lack of playmakers compared to other top teams AND a lack of good QB play. Freeman has settled things down the last 2 games and the win over UNC was solid after that awful loss to Marshall in week 2. If Notre Dame barely gets above .500 this year, though, look for growing calls to change course and quickly.

Nebraska got a good win last night under Mickey Joseph. Granted, it was Indiana but the defense looked better on the whole and the team made great 2nd half adjustments, something that never happened under Frost.

It is funny over the last 2 weeks that Georgia Tech and Colorado have fired their coaches since both teams shared the national title in 1990. And they are FAR from being title contenders now.

Mel Tucker acted like a bitchmade crybaby after he lost the recruiting battle for Kiyaunta Goodwin. Didn't even include us on his final Top 25 coaches poll ballot after our Citrus Bowl win over a Top 15 (I think) Iowa team.
Exactly! Marrow even tweeted about it. We got Goodwin but lost some head to head recruiting battles to them also .

If Christ at Wisconsin can be fired after 5 games, there ain't nobody in CFB truly safe. Anywhere. Even Jimbo & $95 mil.

Them firing Chryst is dumb as hell. He’s third in all time wins. Only one behind 2nd place Bielema. He finished at Wisconsin with an overall record of 67–26 (43–18 in Big Ten play).

Firing a coach with a 72% win percentage. And 6 bowl wins at Whisky. 2 of those being NY6. He was 2-1 in NY6s bowls. Wow.

Paul Chryst Records at Wisconsin: 2015: 10-3 2016: 11-3 2017: 13-1 2018: 8-5 2019: 10-4 2020: 4-3 2021: 9-4. 2022: 2-3.

Lol. That would be like UK firing Stoops!

IDIOTS. Yes he’s having a rough start to the year. But the man averaged 9 wins a year! In a conference somewhat comparable to ours (having to recruit against Ohio State and Meeeechigan and meeeechigan st).

Man. There’s some absolutely DELUSIONAL folks out in the Midwest between Whisky and Brasky.

I hope this truly bites them in the ass. Because it should. They now owe him 16.7 million. I hope he flips them off as he rides into the sunset. Doing alumni dirty when they’re winning overall.
Pretty shitty.

What’s bad is this has started a BIG fan fire train.

Iowa fans now want their coach gone…..and that would be HUGE trouble in Lexington.

Know what you're hinting at but why not Colorado? Past NC, all be it several years ago, just canned their coach, get money people behind it and buy Stoops. For Stoops it's puts him in close proximity of his children.

Honestly, don't see either happening. Stoops is here for the duration but you really never know. Coaches are ego-driven, never know how that works.

I think Mark Stoops is dug in to Lexington; has a bourbon biz, gets to hire friends and family, is comfortable with the fans & media, knows the conference. He coaches a few more seasons then retired early like brother Bob. The Stoops boys don't want to die on the job like their dad, they want to enjoy some real life after their career.

He buried his father in an Iowa jersey. It’s the only place I think he’d leave Kentucky for.

Just saw that ACC Network show on GT destroying the Virginia ranked #1 season in '90 and when a tie meant you didn't lose any credibility. Tech tied UNC on the last play of the game and ended 13-13 without any repercussion.
