What does he give us? No threat to catch a bomb as we can't throw it directly to him. Doesn't block. Drops at least one pass a game. Fumbles way too often. I'm over this kid. He should be better than this but I think it's time to see someone else out there

He was wide open when it was 14-0, Leary just overthrew him. He’s banged up, why they took him off special teams. No excuses though. Fumble was butter-soft.

NONE of the recievers are giving us anything this year. I pin it on Scott Woodward....these kids haven't been coached up since they left high-school and it shows. Woody needs to go

Honestly, he doesn’t have even average hands , he is still running routes like he was in high school (not his fault though), and he doesn’t appear to have good vision and patience with the ball in his hands . He has great speed but at this point he is a kick returner playing receiver.

He looked promising last year. I think it’s Leary. The entire offense stalls when he has to throw the ball. I mean he can’t get it to brown or key.

Seldom agree with Matt Jones but he hit it on the head tonight about our unjustified arrogance. No doubt Brown and Key had success last year but they let it go to their head imo. The proclaimed publicly this summer that they were the best receiving duo in the country and SI and other outlets really built them up. I’m guessing neither of them felt the need to work hard in the off-season and it shows.

Kentucky - Dane Key/Barion BrownBrown (628 yards 4 touchdowns) and Key (519, yards 6 touchdowns) formed one of the country's best freshman receiver duos in 2022, and now as sophomores they'll be looking to build upon a hot start to their Kentucky careers.Aug 16, 2023

So why run a jet sweep with him on the 1st play out of half when you have SBR the SEC’s leading rusher back there?

He was wide open and Leary threw it 70 yds instead of 65.
We haven't completed 10% of long passes this year. We had a ton of momentum and we're picking up chunks of yardage at will. So we call a play that has <10% chance of success? Now we're behind the chains and we have to punt. If running Davis is working, why throw a bomb? Especially to someone who has stone hands.

Totally agree. Same with running a jet sweep with BB out of the half instead of a simple hand off to a guy that had 100 yds at half. I bet he wouldn't have fumbled.

Over three him on a pass that was 100% called from up top. Brown has no business getting any forced deep target. He runs awful routes, weak release, and won't fight for the ball.

There is 100% a divide on offense because of the favoritism he gets. I posted about this stuff all year. Think about this game. We're on our way to blowing them out, clicking on all cylinders, then.....we get the forced deep shot that he, yet again, didn't run an aggressive route to carve out space.

The offense literally fell apart. The only semblance of life was when we finally gave up on wrs catching the ball and went down the field with tes.

Ray Davis had 9 runs for 75 yards and was on fire. He was on the verge of another UF game and instead of feeding him....forced deep shot to brown. Later a forced deep shot to key who at least fought to break it up.

This staff needs to get back to the blue collar approach of holding guys accountable. They let the portal and nil scare them soft and it's killed us the last two years
