He's got a lot to learn but I think he will end up being a uk favorite.
It is an expression. As in, the OP thinks he will end up being a solid player for UK.I'm sure I'll sound like a jerk, but you think the fans will like him?
The fans like everybody in a jersey.

Humphries is a 2-3 year player who will be a very high draft pick when it is all said and done .
No offense, but you apparently don't get. An "expression" means something other than what the words literally mean. So he wasn't saying "the fans are gonna love him." It was an expression meaning that OP predicts Humphries is going to be a really good player for UK in the future.I get that, but you started a thread to make a statement. And then you hedge your bet by only going as far as "the fans are gonna love him." Hell, they like people who don't even play.

You must not of been around for Archie, the Twins, and Murray up until a couple weeks ago. Think he means he'll become a Josh Harrelson type.
If he averages 20 and 10 I won't care who said it!LOL. Thanks for the education friend.
It's a way to hedge. The fans are going to love him can't be wrong.
Then if Humphries averages 20 and 10 next year, OP is running allover the board saying he called it.
I am the OP and you have seriously derailed this post. It's just an opinion.
What is your actual opinion though?
That he'll be a good player? That he'll start?
Or that the fans will like him? Because they already do.
I liked ArchieLOL
I don't think Archie was ever a fan favorite.
