Humphries

I agree. Sorry he had that long stretch where he was glued to bench.

It's hard to guess his upside because he's basketball smart but not an elite athlete. But I'm looking forward to watching him grow.

I'm sure I'll sound like a jerk, but you think the fans will like him?

The fans like everybody in a jersey.

Only got to see the last 12 minutes, but he came down with some tough boards, had good position and challenged some shots.. hope he keeps it up because we are going to need every foul we can get if we're going deep

good post.

he's giving effort every time out now. mixing it up and getting a few offensive rebounds and a block or two. he's showing good energy.

I'm sure he will gain some muscle and will be fun to watch. He and Tai are multi year players they will combine to be the bash brothers in 2 years. Hopefully...

It is an expression. As in, the OP thinks he will end up being a solid player for UK.

I get that, but you started a thread to make a statement. And then you hedge your bet by only going as far as "the fans are gonna love him." Hell, they like people who don't even play.

Humphries is a 2-3 year player who will be a very high draft pick when it is all said and done .

Next Steven Adams?

No offense, but you apparently don't get. An "expression" means something other than what the words literally mean. So he wasn't saying "the fans are gonna love him." It was an expression meaning that OP predicts Humphries is going to be a really good player for UK in the future.

You must not of been around for Archie, the Twins, and Murray up until a couple weeks ago. Think he means he'll become a Josh Harrelson type.

LOL. Thanks for the education friend.

It's a way to hedge. The fans are going to love him can't be wrong.
Then if Humphries averages 20 and 10 next year, OP is running allover the board saying he called it.

LOL

I don't think Archie was ever a fan favorite.

I am the OP and you have seriously derailed this post. It's just an opinion.

If he averages 20 and 10 I won't care who said it!

What is your actual opinion though?

That he'll be a good player? That he'll start?

Or that the fans will like him? Because they already do.

Humphries is going to be a BAD MOFO!!!

(No, I don't mean he is going to be an immoral guy who has sex with mothers, or a guy who has sex with mothers but is bad in bed.)

I liked Archie

but about Humphries - yeah I think he will be a fan favorite; already is with the music stuff. I do believe he'll be an Aussie Jorts. But he'll have more of a head start with no BCG to mess up his head
