Thought Humphries deserved his own thread after that game last night. Skal was obviously struggling with the mass and strength of Plumlee. Humphries came in and exceeded my expectations against high caliber competition.

What a luxury to know that we will Humphries back next year with the addition of Bam and Gabriel. Already have an outstanding front court locked up for next year.

I fully agree. The size and talent are certainly there. Time and Cal's training will take care of the rest. We'll see some really good play from Issac by the end of this season.

He's gonna be good. Obviously needs to adjust to the college game but you can see the potential. And yeah, we're gonna be good next year. again.

The big guy wasn't afraid to get it in there and mix it up and he's gaining a lot of valuable experience.

Really excited about him. He'll be here a few years, and is already "tough," which takes some guys a while to develop. He's going to play a lot for us.

Agree. It really bothered me when Bilas (who I thought did a fine job) kept slobbering over Plumlee diving on the floor and Humphries only bending at the waist. His momentum was taking him in the complete opposite direction of the ball once it was deflected and goofy Plumlee was on top of it and just fell over it while Humphries was adjusting in a complete new direction, which doesn;t happen as quickly for a 7' 240 young man. I thought he played fine for the environment he was thrust into. Looking for bigger and brighter things in his future.

Watched the replay this morning. Impressed with the young Aussie. Only 17, and as Bilas pointed out he up against a 23 man with experience in the college game. He could be a really good one by the time it's all said and done. Looks like he might a bit of a mean streak in him on the court.
