An overlooked play in the game last night was on the last drive when on 3rd and 13 Charles Walker caught a ball and should have been tackled 3 yards short of the first down but managed to fight and make it 4th and inches. If he goes down where he probably should have it's 4th and 3 and we are probably punting. Instead it was 4th and inches which we converted and went on to score the deciding TD.

True story, and we could have gone on to lose the game. But a dozen other plays where we should have locked up the game.
We can work on getting better in practice. What we can't do is go back and play over a game that we lost.

It was a critical play, love to see walkons playing for the love of the game do good.
If you were lucky enough to see this kid play in high school, then you would know that he can really play. I think he played out of position at St. X at tailback. Lord knows what he could have done had he gone to a school that throws the ball (Trinity). We are lucky to have him. He will get more and more reps, IMO

Yep. I expect you'll see more of this starting Saturday.the vertical threat will open up the slant and the running game. I like our chances against the cocks and will be there to support
