No Stephen Johnson. And I think he would have been a very good QB in this system because he was the best deep ball thrower UK has had in a very very long time. His heart and leadership would have won over every single player on this team and they would run through a wall for him.OK... Wilson? Better.
I liked Johnson a lot. He was a better leader. I liked Wilson's athleticism more. Frankly, I'm not sure much really separates them for me, and perhaps that's all I should have said. I always felt Wilson had a higher ceiling, though. No Stephen Johnson. "I love this sh*t."Dude was tough as nails. One of my favorite UK quarterbacks.
He probably did but UK and Gran used him in the wrong system. Wilson was a true drop back pocket passer and they tried to have him run the spread read option which was not what he was best at. He was a gifted scrambler, not a true dual threat QB.I liked Johnson a lot. He was a better leader. I liked Wilson's athleticism more. Oh lord..Terry Wilson in a drop back pocket offense…seriously? He probably did but UK and Gran used him in the wrong system.
