How is ND ranked but USC Jr isnt?

No doubt SEC teams other than UK do not get the benefit of the doubt that an ACC team does. Pollsters have probably been waiting for an opportunity to drop South Carolina out of the polls because of the pathetic OOC schedule they had. So in a way they probably deserve it. Because that schedule of theirs was pretty terrible.

And lest anyone get their panties wadded up by my comment about UK being excluded from that bias, it is largely because we always play good teams. However, in this case, I do think that UK is pretty underrated too. Just do not think there are 19 teams better than us at this point.

The sec is held to a totally different standard. We even have ass clowns on our own board who aren't bright enough to see it and constantly buy into the media hype of all things big12\Acc.

The media has no choice but to crown the sec in football, those northeastern holes sure as hell don't want to do it in basketball.

That's all it is.

USC jr is 18-2 on the season. And notre dame is once again playing like garbage and losing to Syracuse by 17 pts at the half.

Demetrius Jackson is hurt and not playing tonight, fwiw.

ND has wins @ Iowa and @ Duke. I'd take them over SC.

So Carolina at 18-2 should be ranked in top 25. So many teams ranked that have 4-5 losses and even with 6, so a P5 school with 2 losses being ranked is not a stretch IMO

We're not talking about NCAA selection show here. Their RPI is 25 by the way ... 18-2 in a power conference should get you ranked

UL played only 2 teams worth mentioning in their OOC... UK and MSU... lost both games.. had no good wins but still got ranked. Memphis and Clemson seems pretty good compared to little mid major sisters of the poor UL beat up on.

Find a big12 team with an rpi in the top 25 with only two losses in whatever year you like of late that isn't ranked. I'd love to hear it.

Been said early, and it's really simple. Notre Dame is an annually overrated team in basketball and football. Pair that to being in the ACC and there you have it.

You guys want to stick up for the SEC- well, our SEC "brothers" sure as hell weren't rooting for us last year. They were leading the celebration when we lost.

If they can have U of L ranked then I think USC should be ranked. Louisville's non conference schedule was not any better than USC's and they lost their two toughest games with MSU and UK. Besides Pittsburgh they have not played anyone good in the ACC and Pitt looks to be overrated right now.

Doesn't matter what conference a P5 team is in. Not using previous years because they simply don't matter, but a team This Year, with an 18-2 record deserves a ranking in the Top 25.

When the majority of the conferences have teams with more than 3 losses what else do you have to do to get ranked? When you use the Play Someone reason, couldn't that apply to a lot of the ranked teams? It's more than just playing someone, at some point don't you have to beat someone? Team could be 15-5. With 15 wins coming outside the top 50 and all losses being teams inside the top 50. All that's been proved is you have played some tough teams, but you can't beat them.

Completely disagree. Their best win is Memphis or Clemson. Play somebody.

I don't know how SC will finish up, but this schedule is not that bad. SC is and deserves to be ranked. Good news about basketball, you get to, and have to prove it on the court. You win, you'll advance to the tourney, you don't, you're not even in. SC is #22 in the USA Today/Coaches poll. If we keep winning, polls will take care of themselves.

if your 18-2 and in a power 5 then you should be ranked atleast 25th until you lose back to back. They beat division 1 teams.
